how hard would it be for me to get into Boston University?

I calculated what my GPA would be by the end of first term of senior year, and the most I can get is a 3.8 unweighted GPA, if I get at least an A- on each subject for the rest of high school. I don’t think I will though. I’ll probably have some B’s, especially if I decide to take more AP classes next year. Also, I’m in this interact club thingy, and math club. I did this program for high school students for a like 9 weeks every weekend. I don’t know if I’m going to do any more clubs.
I know it’s not like the best or anything, but others are out of my reach and I don’t really care where I go for undergraduate, but I don’t want to go to a state school. They’re not good in my state.
Oh, and I don’t know if that school considers this, but my dad went there for undergraduate and graduate school. If they do consider that, would I have to point that out, or would they just know by my last name? It’s not a common last name so I’m sure he is the only one to go there with that last name.
Didn’t take SAT’s..but I have a couple booklets for them
and is this school that big into ‘life experiences’…? ..or is that just like harvard and stuff..?
