How do I approach his family with this
I moved back about a year after this all happened to help my mom out a little bit. I would have come back sooner but she’s a proud woman who doesn’t like to ask for help. I don’t think I would have found out about what I’m going to tell you otherwise.
Last week she told me about this guy she had met last winter when he came up here on vacation. They went out for a few drinks and apparently she likes him a lot. She then went on to tell me that he’ll be coming up again in a few days and she would like me to meet him. To tell you the truth I really wanted to **** this guy, after all he isn’t my dad, but when I met him the other day I was completely floored by how nice he was. It wasn’t an uneasy “I’m only being nice because I want to sleep with your mom” kind of nice. I could really tell that he was a genuinely nice guy. He’s been looking at places to buy in the area so he can move up here, since he’s been vacationing in the area for the past 15 years (his brother also lives up here), so it looks like the relationship between my mom and him could become more serious.
The question is how do I break this news to my dad’s family? I don’t think any of them have ever considered the possibility that my mom would start dating again.
I also know that it’s my mom’s business as to whether or not she should tell them. I just want your opinions so that when the time comes I’ll be able to back her up.

Mothers can choose to give their babies, their last name instead of the fathers too right? I was wondering this while I was thinking about single moms.

I am just being honest, everyone has there own opinion and entitled to it, but her dad is on the show that is how she got the part in the first place and that is what her dad has to do with it.
