In the DNC debate last night there was no mention of:?

Social Security.
An actual method for getting out of Iraq.
Tax cuts and what will be done for revenue if they are allowed to expire.
Real (Binding) Congressional reform.
Anyones real experience that makes them qualified.
Why not?

What are your thoughts on the debate last night?

Me? I thought it was a draw. The big differences though between the two are that McCain is more direct, Obama is more suave.

I actually agree with Obama in the things that he says that are wrong with our country, just like I agree with McCain on the same things.

The big differences?
McCain believes more in free market solutions and not giving our enemies a higher ground to stand on.
Obama believes in large government solutions and socialistic ideologies as well as giving our enemies more credibility on the world stage. Didn’t Jimmy Carter try that with dismal failure?

Naturally I lean to McCain, being a conservative.
Obama has good points, but I don’t like his way of thinking in how to solve problems.

So that to me is the differences.
They both seem to realize the same issues we are facing, they just have dramatically different ways of how to solve them.

So that I believe is how the election will play out.

Larger government as well as leveling of the playing field with our enemies VS smaller government, free market solutions as well as NOT giving positive credibility to our enemies.

What are your thoughts?

FOX News just called the debate for Obama. Does that mean we are all in agreement?

OK, I’ll admit the last two debates could easily be argued as stalemates. But FOX news pundits, including a guy from the Weekly Standard thinks that McCain was tough in the beginning, then once Obama swatted the Ayers issue into the stands like a weak layup, it because one sided. Does anyone disagree with the most conservative publication and TV station in the country?

Did any Obama backers change their support to another candidate after his unintelligible attempt at a debate?

Obama did horribly in last night’s debate. He was tripping over his words and ideas. He filled the air with um’s, uh, oh’s. Did anyone, who was a supporter of his change his/her mind after watching the debate?

(Obama supporters and their rants are not welcomed as the this question is obviously not targeted to you. )

How do I tell my husband I’m thinking about voting for Obama?

He is soooo much against Obama, and has liked McCain from the start, but I’m seriously considering Obama. He really impressed me with the debate last night. I don’t think my husband will be mad or anything, he’ll just try to change my mind. So how do I let him know? and of course I’ll have to let him know. I can’t lie and say I voted for McCain if I really didn’t.

Why did McCain say at the debate last night “we let ****** come to power?”?

Did we? Is that really true?

Should we have stopped ****** in 1933? How could we have done that short of invading Germany? What would have been the grounds for the invasion?

How could we have known ****** was bad when he hadn’t built Aushwitz or started any wars yet? Isn’t who leads Germany for the Germans to decide rather than us Americans?

Is McCain saying that America has a duty to invade other countries to prevent someone from getting power that we don’t like or suspect that we won’t like in the future?

If that isn’t what McCain was saying, what was he saying?
