Should I take my fiancees last name?
I am kinda on the fence about it, but if I do take his last name, I will make my current last name my second middle name. The reason why this is so important to me is because my step-father adopted me and that really means a lot to me. My last name is a symbol of that. The only problem is that this is a big deal to my fiancee.
Any way any advice you have is appreciated.

Check out this link and take a look at the couple in their wedding. Do you think their marriage will last and how is their love giving to each other? I saw the groom’s shoulder always directing to other side like he wanted to pull away from her. His ****** signs. Some pics shown that they mimic other, that’s is a good sign. But is it enough?

To tell more about the situation, her family is very rich, she is uptown girl and he is downtown man. Now he is living in her family, away from his house. Looking at more picture u can understand more.
Until now nobody understand what he was married her for, money or love. She broken up with her bf and 6 months later engaged to him.
The reason why their last love ended is that her last bf didnt want to marry her.
Her husband is kind to her and always try to be familiar with her family and get the good feeling from her parents.
This is a social pshychological situation i have to work out. Thanks for any help.

Her last love lasted for 5 years and the family between his and her didnt agree and he put no efford on trying to solve the problem. He didnt want to marry yet though his family was poorer a lot, he wanted to be independent and to work for more years on his own before working for her family. The most important reason is that he didnt love her enough to try above all the cases.
All the cost off the wedding was paid by her family. Such a luxurious and top wedding at the top restaurant that cost millions dollar.

Can you legally change your last name because you **** it?
How can you change your name legally just because you **** your last name and feel like you got stuck with the wrong name?
The question is, if you are unhappy with your last name and want to change it, why would it depend on a judge’s approval? Shouldn’t you have the freedom to change your name for ANY reason?
Another problem, is chnaging legal documents. I read that, hwere I live, a court order for a name change is 50-something dollars. But, I have no idea how much it would cost to change my passport, driver’s license, etc. Im going abroad soon, and I’m worried that my passport might be affected by all that red tape.
The last name isn’t who I am… I feel like I got stuck with the wrong name by accident. I don’t want to hurt my family but they’ll understand.

do I need to go to court to change my name?
we live in North Carolina - has it been too long to use marriage as a reason for the name change? do we need to go to court, or just file paperwork?

Why are children’s surnames named by their father and not mother?
And don’t say that the surnames of people in the future would be too long because perhaps they could jot them all down in an entire list stored in secure computers in the future right? So their identities are recognized.
Then why some people have no middle names, then what?
I don’t see a few of my friends who’s mums and dads are divorced changing their names.
People should just change man, if not now, then when?
